At FootTruck, we prioritize the health and safety of our clients and staff. In compliance with Infection Prevention Control (IPAC) best practice and procedures

https://ipac-canada.org, our infection prevention and control measures are of the utmost importance to prevent the spread of infections.

Sterilization Materials We Use:

  1. Ultrasonic Cleaner: This advanced piece of equipment uses high-frequency sound waves to clean instruments and other objects. The sound waves create microscopic bubbles in a solution, which then implode upon the surfaces of the objects placed in the cleaner. This process, called cavitation, helps remove even the tiniest particles of dirt, dust, and other contaminants. By using an ultrasonic cleaner, we ensure that our instruments are free from any debris before sterilization, enhancing the effectiveness of the entire sterilization process.
  2. Autoclave: The autoclave is a vital sterilization tool in many medical and dental settings. It uses steam under pressure to kill harmful bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores. An autoclave ensures that all instruments are thoroughly sterilized, reducing the risk of infection transmission. We regularly monitor our autoclave’s performance to make sure it meets the strict standards set by the EOHU (Eastern Ontario Health Unit).

Every instrument we use goes through a rigorous cleaning and sterilization process, ensuring they are safe for use. Our commitment to these procedures demonstrates our unwavering dedication to maintaining a hygienic environment for everyone.

Please be assured that we continuously stay updated with the latest guidelines and best practices recommended by the EOHU to serve you better and keep everyone safe.
